- # 1.
-
- A place of creativity, leadership, interest in the
- community. There will be evidence (curious objects,
- books, etc.) of wide and varied interests. Active minds
- thrive here. Things are often in disarray (as opposed
- to simple messiness) due to the jumping from one
- project or interest to another.*
- # 2.
-
- A place of civility and dignity. Quiet.
- Substantial, respected citizens thrive here. No
- nonsense or extravagance fits in. Simplicity and
- honest, functional design is in evidence. Everything is
- in place but not obsessively so. The inhabitants should
- be warm and friendly and straight-shooting -- though
- tactful.*
- # 3.
-
- A place of jovial, pleasant company and stimulating
- dialogue. Many visitors will be found here often. The
- inhabitants will be gregarious with an door open to
- almost everyone. What may happen here is hard to
- predict day to day so care must be taken to keep some
- semblance of order. The Muses will make this their home
- if excess and extravagance doesn't take over and drive
- them out. Some governing rules may need to be laid down
- in order to avoid chaos.*
- # 4.
-
- A place of honesty and straight-forwardness. One
- that stands for something good and is in itself
- something good. Those with the ability to appreciate
- such things will feel it as soon as they enter and will
- return again and again. Healthy minds and practical
- wisdom congregate and work best here. A busy place and
- a good place to get work done. If something needs
- doing then this is the place people will come.*
- # 5.
-
- A place of much activity. This is home base as much
- as a home--a pit stop for its inhabitants who are
- always busy with things outside. It is a place to
- rest, recuperate, and plan further sorties. Things may
- be messy due to dropping everything at the first sign
- of action somewhere else.*
- # 6.
-
- A place conducive to close family bonds. Responsible
- living and domestic values are respected here. Money
- has a way of coming in the door along with healthy
- perspectives, love, understanding, and achievement.*
- # 7.
-
- A place to think, work, and enjoy quiet company. Not
- conducive to extrovertive entertaining. Learning,
- studying, and the pursuit of intellectual and
- philosophical activities thrive here. Things will be
- generally tidy and neat, indicating an orderly approach
- to the wide variety of interests of the inhabitants.*
- # 8.
-
- A place that will have an air of dignity and
- substance. The occupants are in the spotlight, perhaps
- respected in the community.Etiquette, good taste, and
- propriety are important here. Small things matter.
- Perfection may be sought after. This is a place of
- potential power for its inhabitants.*
- # 9.
-
- A place attractive to others. Its inhabitants will
- be sought after for their advice and understanding.
- All are welcome here. This is not always an easy
- number to live up to.*
